Welcome to Colorado Blitz

Events are coached by high school certified flag football coaches under the direction of Darren Pitzner. Coach Pitz is the Flag Football Head Coach at Legend High School and was named the 2025 5A Colorado Coach of the Year. Players from all high schools are encouraged to register and compete together. Blitz is PLAYER FRIENDLY because events are fast-paced and fun. Blitz is PARENT FRIENDLY because commitment is flexible and affordable!

Blitz Monthly - Summer 2026

Blitz Monthly is for players who aren't currently on one of our club teams but want top Quarterback, Wide Receiver, Center, and Defensive flag football training by attending our Battle Sessions. Purchase Blitz Monthly memberships for May, June, and July to attend sessions in those months.

Already on one of our club teams? Battle Sessions through July are fully included!

May sessions are mostly M, W, F 4:00-5:30pm plus Sundays 1:00-3:00pm at Legend HS in Parker, CO. Once you enroll you'll receive an invite to our TeamSnap One calendar.

Open to players in these classes: 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030.

Battle Sessions - Spring 2026

For players currently in grades 8-12. Battle Sessions are flag football clinics featuring skills and drills followed by competitive 4v4 and 7v7 games. These skills do build on each other so you'll want to attend as often as you can! Watch for these sessions to pop up on short notice on warm sunny days with costs kept as low as possible. Locations in Parker, Centennial, Littleton, and more. Feb 15 and 16 sessions are just $18 each and located at Legend HS in Parker.

Question: If I've already paid month one and registered for the season, do I still pay for Battle Sessions? Month one is March. January and February are pay as you go. When it's warm out, let's play!

What’s the commitment level with Blitz? In 2026, we will offer teams with a full level of commitment or opportunities for a much more flexible experience. You can get as much or as little out of Blitz as you’d like. We encourage kids to play multiple sports. Flag football works really well with juggling club soccer, in-season school sports, and other passions. This is far more flexible and affordable than typical club sports that run your life. The more you attend, the more fun you’ll have and successful you’ll be with Blitz. Attend every Battle Session you can! Even though the commitment level is flexible, we offer high level training designed to help you contribute on your high school varsity team, learn the details of the game, and pursue the opportunity to play in college if you have the drive.

I’m an experienced / advanced player. Will I be stuck working out with beginners? Battle Sessions and Blitz Teams will involve a group warmup and some fundamental work with all experience levels together before breaking up into rookies, middies, and varsity level of athletes. You will spend most of your time competing with athletes at your level.
